My Background
Beginning my career in chemical engineering, I was on a mission to solve some of the toughest problems in manufacturing processes and business management systems. With a solid progression through various leadership roles over a 25-year career, I took on numerous challenges to lead and support growth at a titan Fortune 200 global company. I relocated several times, eventually with my husband and children as well, to take on increasing depth of leadership responsibility.
The various environments I worked in over the years were rich in cultural diversity. I gained profound insight into the nuanced needs of individuals—emotional safety, authentic connection, and compassionate leadership—essential for teams and organizations to thrive. I put my all into creating the structure and dynamics for people to thrive because I knew the returns in getting to the results the company demanded. I was excited to experience the true power in unlocking human potential. The purest form of human greatness that ignites the transformation of organizations into their highest potential by creating and nurturing a rich environment that supports continuous regeneration, growth, and results driven by both individual empowerment and cross-functional collaboration. Above all, I got the most satisfaction from coaching and guiding my leaders and teams to their own ah-ha moments that transformed how they lead themselves and therefore, how they lead others.
My Story
Meanwhile, while juggling my successful career, I worked on also building the "personal" life I had always wanted - a romantic partnership with my husband, raising children, establishing a beautiful home, and all the key markers of a "successful" life. In both my work and my personal life I took the dedicated approach "if you take care of others, they will take care of you."
After so many years of hustling and putting everything into creating and maintaining this wonderfully safe and secure life, I began to see that for some reason I wasn't actually feeling taken care of. And my level of satisfaction in how I was operating through my life was diminishing. I felt like something was missing. And then I would feel guilty for not appreciating all that I had in my life. I started to sense I was somehow failing at life and that if I didn't do something to change how I was operating, I was going to hit rock-bottom.
I took a courageous step to invest deeply in my personal growth, initially thinking I needed to reboot my confidence. However, what I truly required was radical honesty, emotional clarity, and authentic alignment with my core values. I quickly realized I had been continuously adding, however not conscious to my need to also actively subtract the behaviors and beliefs that no longer served me. This was my initiation into an intense transformative journey to discover the place of my being that I was making decisions from and how those self-imposed roadblocks were often times preventing me from effortlessly tapping into the guidance aligned with my inner truths.
A New Freedom
The story of my transformative journey and resulting evolution is never ending, nor is anyone's. I am now an enthusiastic student of life. I am a guide for my children because they see what it means to do what makes you feel alive and follow your heart. I am a compassionate and supportive partner for my husband, and I get to openly receive his support and love. I get to make more empowered decisions that are free from my past. I get to step forward without fearing some unknown and uncontrollable future. Because I take the time to do things that I am passionate about and that recharge me, I get to serve others and bring my creativity in ways that bring me joy, and not from a place that depletes. But most importantly, I am a grounded and authentic leader of my beautiful life.
I am blessed and excited that I get to continue to guide others in journeying to their own self-realizations and a better way of operating their lives and how they lead others that aligns with their true nature. I believe in a holistic approach to coaching that encompasses mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. By combining evidence-based techniques with personalized strategies, I empower my clients to overcome enormous challenges and cultivate a fulfilling life of freedom and abundance.
