Meet Sharon Vasher
My Background
With over 20 years of experience in leadership at a Fortune 200 chemical manufacturing company, I have successfully coached and guided individuals and teams to high-level performance with sustainable results, including various "turnaround" manufacturing facilities.
Beginning my career in engineering, I was on a mission to solve some of the toughest problems in manufacturing processes and business management systems. Along this journey I was excited to experience the true power in unlocking human potential. The purest form of human greatness that ignites the transformation of organizations into their highest potential by creating and nurturing a rich environment that supports continuous regeneration, growth, and results driven by both individual empowerment and cross-functional collaboration. Above all, I got the most satisfaction from seeing others get to their own ah-ha moments that transformed how they lead themselves and therefore, how they lead others.
My Story
With a solid progression through a 25-year career in Corporate America, I took on numerous challenges to lead and support growth at a titan global company. I relocated several times, eventually with my family as well, to take on increasing roles of responsibility. The environments I worked in were rich in cultural diversity. I began to understand what people desire in both their workplace, from their peers, and their leaders. I put my all into creating the structure and dynamics for people to thrive because I knew the returns in getting to the results the company demanded.
Meanwhile, I worked on building the life I had thought I always wanted - a romantic partnership with my husband, raising children, establishing a beautiful home, and all the key markers of a "successful" life. In both my work and my personal life I took the approach of "if you take care of others, they will take care of you."
After so many years of hustling and putting everything into creating and maintaining this wonderfully safe and secure life, I began to see that I wasn't actually feeling taken care of. And my level of satisfaction in how I was operating through my life was diminishing. I felt like something was missing. And then I would feel guilty for not appreciating all that I had in my life. I started to sense I was failing at life and that if I didn't do something to change how I was operating, I was going to hit rock-bottom.
I took the steps to start investing in myself. I hired a coach thinking I just needed to dig out some more confidence to turn around this sense that I was failing. It wasn't that simple. I had been continuously adding, however not realizing I also needed to be subtracting the behaviors and beliefs that no longer served me. I then started a transformative journey to discover the place of my being that I was making decisions from, and how they were most often harming me rather than helping me.
A New Freedom
The story of my transformative journey and resulting evolution is never ending, nor is anyone's. I am now an enthusiastic student of life. I am a guide for my children because they see what it means to do what makes you feel alive and follow your heart. I am a compassionate and supportive partner for my husband, and I get to openly receive his support and love. I get to make more empowered decisions that are free from my past. I get to step forward without fearing some unknown and uncontrollable future. Because I take the time to do things that I am passionate about and that recharge me, I get to serve others and bring my creativity in ways that bring me joy, and not from a place that depletes.
I am blessed and excited that I get to help others discover their own self-realizations towards a better way of operating their lives and how they lead others that aligns with their true nature. I believe in a holistic approach to coaching that encompasses mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. By combining evidence-based techniques with personalized strategies, I empower my clients to overcome enormous challenges and cultivate a fulfilling life of freedom and abundance.
